Cross Roads

Hello All,

2013 was an amazing year for Capemedia UK Limited, we became a limited company, we had plenty of clients and we were becoming successful.  Over the last 6 months though, I have been trying very hard to keep this dream alive, but it may have to come to an end.  Unfortunately at the start 2014 my contracts began to end and try as I might I couldn't get enough clients in to maintain the company.

The decision to freeze the limited company has not been an easy one, but unless something amazing happens in the next couple of weeks then that is what will happen.  Fortunately we can still afford to monitor the situation and even though the company is frozen it's better then closing it down completely.  However by 2016, if things do not improve then we will be left with no other choice but to cease trading.

We are still open, but just about...

So as I sit here at these cross roads deciding where to go, I'm drawn to going back to my media roots and looking back over the last 10 years.

Capemedia UK hasn't been unsuccessful, I have a list of satisfied clients for whom I have worked with in different capacities - LINK

We have made a number of films and short videos over the years, some winning awards and others being shown at various venues around the globe - LINK

Capemedia UK is 10 years old in May 2015 and I am proud of what we have done in those years.

So what for 2015...

Well I'm going to go back to my music and animation.  I will concentrate on learning and developing my skills with iClone 6. I will start practising the piano and drums again, something I have neglected over the last year and start making music again.

Go back to my basics, stop planning the impossible and keep everything simple.

I have a number of unfinished projects just waiting to be picked up and worked on.  That will be a good place to start.

2015 might not be the success I thought it was going to be 2 years ago, but if I have plan this right and go back to what I enjoy and love.  Maybe 2015 will be a year that will celebrate 10 years of Capemedia UK to the essence of what I began back in 2005.

Here's to a great year.

Thanks for reading.

Colin (aka Capemedia)

  1. Hope things pick up for you and the company Colin, shame to waste such talents but going back to basics often brings us forward :-) Best of luck, Darren
